What Does the HDF Community Drink? Finland's Most Popular Cocktails

We asked HDF’s community on Instagram and TikTok one question: what are you drinking? Hundreds of replies came in, and once we added them up, one drink came out on top in nearly every city. Worth noting: this is HDF’s community favourite list, not a statistically representative survey of Finland — but it’s a solid read on what's actually being ordered right now.

Mojito reigns — but not everywhere

Mojito wins across nearly all of Finland. But there are exceptions: out west — in Tampere, Espoo and Pori — Aperol Spritz muscles into first place. Head east and Gin & Tonic and Espresso Martini take over instead, topping the charts in cities like Lappeenranta and Mikkeli.

Same winner, different runner-up — that’s the most interesting part of this data. Cocktail taste in Finland is surprisingly aligned at the very top, but the regional differences show up right underneath.
